We're Hokkaido Ramen & Sushi Bar, and we're a premier ramen and sushi restaurant here in Evanston, IL. Our menu features authentic ramen and sushi. We proudly serve the best all you can eat sushi in the Evanston and Chicago area! In addition, you can enjoy our incredible Spicy Ramen, where you can choose from 3 levels of spicy or our famous Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen. We also have a nice selection of cocktails, beers, and soft drinks to complement your meal. I loved everything in here! We came like around 2pm. It was an Happy Hour offer which is all you can eat $24. We had the good fortune to dine at this new ramen eatery about two weeks ago on a Friday evening. It's a large dining room with about 27 tables. There is a handsome sushi bar also, where up to 14 diners may sit on stools and watch the sushi masters prepare their orders. A high, tin-stamped ceiling is adorned with two large chandeliers and the wall opposite the sushi bar is decorated with a hand-painted mural depicting an ocean scene. In addition to the attractive decor and pleasant atmosphere of Hokkaido, the food and service are both excellent. We chose to eat ramen and ordered two large bowls: Shio Ramen and Chicken Rich Ramen. Each dish was filled with vegetables and meat swimming in a (not too) salty chicken broth. Our server was friendly and eager to please, patiently answering our questions about different dishes, how long Hokkaido had been opened (more than one year). We were tempted to order boba teas, but they were large and the ramen filled us up and really hit the proverbial "spot." Next visit, we'll sample sushi and boba teas!
